Retail Service Specialist

About This Role

Support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers by overseeing sales, enhancing customer service, maintaining store appearance, and managing store operations. This role involves leading customer service efforts and assuming shift management when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom
• Ensure team member execution on customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot)
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy
• Process online orders, transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing electronic outside purchase order ledger
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately
• Ensure all merchandise, core charges, and warranties are invoiced before product leaves the store
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate/complete Image Maker and merchandising tasks
• Ensure team members adhere to schedules and clock in/out according to policy
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, verifying/securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, and securing the building and delivery vehicle(s)

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Nice to Have

• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
