About This Role

As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you will provide excellent customer service, guiding shoppers to find products and meet their home improvement needs, contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Replenish merchandise on shelves by stocking empty areas
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure timely customer receipt
• Cross-functionally train in other store areas to enhance customer service
• Prepare merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut pipe, bundle wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout

Requirements

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smart phones and tablets)
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Ability to perform duties requiring prolonged standing, sitting
• Ability to lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer for data input/access and common retail technology, with basic arithmetic skills.

Nice to Have

• 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bi-lingual skills
• Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
