Retail Sales

About This Role

This role combines customer service with genuine care to assist customers with their home improvement needs at Lowe's. Associates will engage with customers, help them find products, and solve their challenges.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by replenishing shelves
• Process orders and deliveries accurately
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store
• Prepare merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut wood, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout

Requirements

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using computers and common retail technology, and/or 6 months of retail/customer service experience

Nice to Have

• 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bi-lingual skills
• Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
