Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you will engage with customers, providing top-notch service to help them find home improvement products and solutions. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and assisting with their diverse home renovation needs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by replenishing empty shelves
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for timely customer receipt
• Cross-functionally train in other store areas to enhance customer service
• Prepare merchandise per customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut pipe/wood, cut drywall/blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout

Requirements

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, outputting info) & 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones, tablets)

Nice to Have

• 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bi-lingual skills
• Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
