About This Role

As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you will provide top-notch customer service, helping customers find products and solutions for their home improvement projects. This role involves direct customer interaction, merchandise handling, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout

Requirements

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
• Ability to minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information; 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.

Nice to Have

• 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bi-lingual skills
• Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
