About This Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will drive sales by connecting with customers, understanding their needs, and positioning cutting-edge technology solutions to expand the Verizon network.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging a passion for technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking probing questions
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with complete sales solutions
• Close sales by using effective communication skills to fulfill customer needs with intuitive tech solutions
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory
• Potential to grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers
• Engage with the community outside the store to expand the loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience, including work experience and/or military experience

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
