Retail Part Time Store Associate

About This Role

This part-time Retail Store Associate role at Office Depot involves engaging customers, providing product and service recommendations, and maintaining store visual standards to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Proactively acknowledge and engage every customer to support a positive customer-centric experience
• Utilize and understand the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional products and/or services
• Maintain awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs
• Consistently maintain store and print department appearance to company guidelines and keep a neat, clean, well-stocked environment
• Adhere to all standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation
• Follow established sorting and stocking guidelines and complete freight processes
• Ensure freight sorting area is organized and set up in accordance with guidelines
• Scan, investigate, and fill inventory lows and outs daily
• Work to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided, including successful completion of Tech, Print, and other applicable training
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices, and support the company’s loss prevention efforts

Requirements

• Basic computer skills and ability to use computers and technology for information
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to read, count and write for documentation, training tools, and inventory processing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education preferred
• No previous experience required
