Retail Master Club Fitter

About This Role

This role involves building golfer relationships, providing positive club fitting experiences, and overseeing sales performance within the golf department. The Master Club Fitter will also be responsible for training and certifying other club fitters.

Responsibilities

• Build golfer relationships and provide positive club fitting experiences
• Support the Operations Sales Manager in achieving sales performance and profit objectives
• Train and certify all club fitters within the department
• Drive sales in services-related areas (simulator, putting green, Special Orders, Pre-Owned, club fitting, and repair programs, accessories)
• Analyze Golf sales reports and communicate results to teammates
• Establish and maintain effective customer relationships, ensuring greetings and assistance
• Monitor sales, customer service, and operational efforts on the selling floor
• Serve as point of contact for golf services knowledge and company standards
• Maintain thorough knowledge of products, services, promotions, and advertising
• Manage store services sales by performing customer club fittings and repairs
• Ensure department scheduling, workplace, and daily teammate assignments are on task
• Help communicate company initiatives, programs, and promotions to teammates
• Assist store management with general supervision, including opening and closing, as Key Carrier
• Plan and execute all golf directives
• Partner with teammates/management to achieve shrinkage goals by proper merchandise handling
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding store operations

Qualifications

• 1-3 years retail experience preferred; 1-3 years golf industry experience preferred
