Retail Key Holder

About This Role

This Key Holder position at BevMo! by Gopuff is responsible for opening and closing the store, providing excellent customer service, driving sales, and assisting with various retail operations. This role supports store management and helps onboard new employees while ensuring efficient store operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and informing them of products and services
• Open and close the store by arriving early and leaving late
• Assist the store during high volume periods and support new employees
• Provide product recommendations to customers based on in-house product knowledge
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as restocking, conducting counts, and identifying discrepancies
• Process cash transactions accurately, including opening/closing tills, counting cash, and preparing deposits
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronic devices
• Follow proper age verification policies
• Ensure all prices and quantities are accurate and provide customer receipts
• Process refunds and exchanges
• Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, including bag checks and security procedures
• Maintain store cleanliness and standards in the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms
• Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards

Requirements

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience
• Ability to work with fluid schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling
• Team-oriented mentality
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• High School Diploma or equivalent
