Retail Key Holder

About This Role

This Key Holder role, for BevMo! by Gopuff, is responsible for opening and closing the store, providing excellent customer service, and supporting management in day-to-day retail operations. This position drives sales and helps train new employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of products and services
• Open and close the store
• Assist during periods of high volume and support new employees
• Provide customers with product recommendations based on knowledge of in-house products
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as restocking, conducting counts, and identifying discrepancies
• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including opening and closing tills, counting cash, and preparing deposits
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics
• Follow proper age verification policies
• Ensure all prices and quantities are accurate and provide customer receipts
• Process refunds and exchanges
• Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, including conducting bag checks and ensuring adherence to security procedures
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist in upholding standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms
• Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards

Requirements

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience
• Ability to work with fluid schedules, including peak hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling
• Team-oriented mentality
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• High School Diploma or equivalent
