Retail Key Holder

About This Role

This Key Holder position for BevMo! by Gopuff is responsible for opening and closing the store and performing managerial duties in the absence of management. You will provide excellent customer service, drive sales, and support new employees, ensuring smooth retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers
• Inform customers of products and services and provide recommendations
• Open and close the store
• Assist the store during periods of high volume and provide support for new employees
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as restocking merchandise, conducting counts, and identifying discrepancies
• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including opening and closing tills, counting cash, and preparing deposits
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics
• Follow proper age verification policies
• Ensure all prices and quantities are accurate and provide customer receipts
• Process refunds and exchanges
• Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, including conducting bag checks and ensuring adherence to security procedures
• Maintain store cleanliness standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms
• Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards

Requirements

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience
• Ability to work with fluid schedules, including peak hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• High School Diploma or equivalent
