About This Role

Guide clients in the Retail and Consumer Products sector through critical moments and transformational initiatives by developing and implementing business strategies. This role focuses on M&A, growth, market analysis, and operational optimization, leveraging scenario planning to shape future business agendas.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and build new sources of competitive advantage for clients
  • Increase revenues and improve margin for retail and consumer product companies
  • Optimize operations to drive growth for clients
  • Leverage scenario planning and futures thinking to analyze industry evolution
  • Shape business agendas and architect enterprise transformations for clients
  • Partner across Deloitte to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients
  • Craft and implement strategies for growth and transformation at corporate, business, or product level
  • Create client-ready materials including roadmaps, presentations, and business cases
  • Lead and influence teams, coaching and mentoring staff

Requirements

  • 6+ years of management consulting experience focused on Corporate & Business Unit Strategy, Strategic Planning, Growth Strategy, Commercial Strategy, and Business Transformation
  • 6+ years of experience working with senior executives crafting and implementing strategies for growth and transformation at the corporate, business, or product level
  • 6+ years of experience creating client-ready materials, including roadmaps, presentations (PowerPoint), business case, business process and transformation plans
  • 4+ years of experience using analytical methods and tools to create project analysis and recommendation support
  • 4+ years of experience defining trends across industries and articulate their impact to clients' business and strategic choices
  • 4+ years of experience leading a team and influencing others, including coaching and mentoring other staff
  • 3+ years in the Retail and Consumer Products sector

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university with strong undergraduate academic record
  • 6+ years of management consulting experience focused on Corporate & Business Unit Strategy, Strategic Planning, Growth Strategy, Commercial Strategy, and Business Transformation. 6+ years of experience working with senior executives crafting and implementing strategies. 4+ years of experience using analytical methods and tools and defining industry trends. 3+ years in the Retail and Consumer Products sector.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree in business (i.e., MBA)
  • 4+ years of experience in the consulting services sales pursuit & proposal process
  • 4+ years of experience with Scenario Planning/Modeling
  • Knowledge of or experience in broader G&A functions (i.e., HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Commercial Operations)
  • Basic understanding of the core digital technologies that underpin world class customer experiences (e.g., CRM, E-Commerce, Content Management)
