Retail Account Manager

About This Role

As a Retail Account Manager, you will build and maintain relationships with customers to introduce artisanal food products, strengthen distribution, and identify growth opportunities within your territory.

Responsibilities

• Taste and learn about new artisanal and imported products to increase sales knowledge
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers at corporate and store levels
• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
• Communicate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise
• Develop and implement monthly promotional schedules
• Prepare and present annual business reviews for each account
• Participate in marketing events such as seminars, sales meetings, and trade shows
• Participate successfully in all sales drives, incentives, and contests
• Conduct outside sales activities by regularly visiting customers
• Schedule and manage customer visits to present product demonstrations and close sales

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 25 lbs
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, retail, culinary, or management
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, retail, culinary, or management
