Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care, with additional competency in NICU and Pediatric patient care, ensuring compliance with hospital and respiratory policies.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care
- Show additional competency in NICU and Pediatric patient care
- Be responsible for execution of assignments
- Ensure all care is in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies
- May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC
- One year experience in Respiratory Care and with documented training completed in NICU and/or Pediatrics
- CRT, RRT by NBRC upon hire
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
- Current NRP and PALS
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC
- One year experience in Respiratory Care and with documented training completed in NICU and/or Pediatrics
