The Respiratory Therapist Inter initiates and performs all phases of neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care at Michigan Medicine. This role contributes to patient care at one of the world's largest health care complexes.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and perform all phases of neonatal, pediatric and adult respiratory care
Requirements
- Graduation from an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program
- Current Michigan Respiratory Therapy license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire
- (For Graduates) College degree in Respiratory Therapy
- (For Graduates) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC within 90 days of hire
- (For Graduates) Michigan Respiratory Therapist licensure within 90 days of hire
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a college degree in Respiratory Therapy
Nice to Have
- Previous pediatric or neonatal intensive care experience
- Registration (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
