Research Manager for Telecom, Media & Entertainment (TME)

About This Role

Manage research projects for the Telecom, Media & Entertainment (TME) sectors, contributing high-quality content for clients and service professionals. This role involves hands-on writing, research, and managing the TMT research team's operations and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Write thoughtful, well-researched, and provocative thoughtware related to TMT industry trends
• Incorporate understanding of TME sectors and client interests to create differentiating research
• Lead idea generation for research projects addressing industry challenges
• Manage critical project management processes, including proposal development and workflow
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis, case study development, survey design, and executive interviews
• Develop and deliver presentations to executives and practitioners
• Work with diverse teams and provide feedback and coaching to junior team members
• Build effective working relationships with practice leadership and subject matter experts
• Collaborate with marketing, PR, and client service professionals to deploy thought leadership

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience related to the TMT industry
• Excellent business writing skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated experience in project and team management
• Strong people skills to influence executive-level thinking and create demand for research
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience related to the TMT industry
