As a Research Analyst, you will analyze high-value Federal contract pursuits, identifying implications of new capture intelligence. You will leverage communication and analytical skills to extract information and perceive patterns, using creative writing to summarize research results and directly impact bid decisions for millions of dollars.
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, collection, and dissemination of critical capture information with a journalistic approach
- Provide BD intelligence to industry C-level executives, BD teams, and service delivery professionals
- Advise executive-level decision-makers within the Federal Contracting industry
- Participate with team members in delivering time-sensitive intelligence
- Interview and engage with high-ranking government officials
- Partake in our mission to provide customized, real-time, and accurate capture intelligence not available elsewhere
- Review work in progress throughout the team and provide feedback (for experienced analysts)
- Support and train other analysts (for experienced analysts)
- Provide professional and technical support to the team (for experienced analysts)
- Provide additional oversight for certain research areas of the business (for experienced analysts)
Requirements
- Must have received a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year Institution
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Typing speed above 40 WPM
- Comfortable conducting phone calls with high-ranking government personnel
- Remote working location in United States Eastern or Central time zones only
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year Institution
- Entry-level: must have received a Bachelor’s Degree with an overall GPA of at least 3.0. Experienced: At least 2 years experience in a market research, capture intelligence, or business-development-focused role.
Nice to Have
- 2-3 Years of Federal Contracting Experience (for experienced Research Analyst)
- Experience using business development and market intelligence platforms within federal contracting
- Experience with communicating with industry over both phone and email
- Knowledge of common Federal Contracting Terminology, Processes, and Policies including: The FAR, NAICS Codes, Contract Vehicles, Socio-economic Classifications, Proposal Bid stages, Evaluation Criteria
