Remote Claims Adjuster – Automotive

About This Role

This remote Claims Adjuster role involves investigating, evaluating, and negotiating automotive repair costs, determining coverage based on contracts, and resolving customer issues by taking inbound calls and processing claims efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and negotiate minor to complex vehicle repair costs to accurately determine coverage and liability
• Take inbound calls to determine coverage based on contracts
• Appropriately resolve customer issues
• Provide information about claim processing and explain contract coverage and terms
• Accurately establish, review and authorize claims
• Enter claim and contract information into the AGWS’ system

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive mechanic within a service department, dealership, or independent shop
• 2+ years of experience adjusting automobile mechanical claims
• Must have a quiet designated work space to work from home
• Must have reliable internet with at least a download speed of 50mbps
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• High school diploma

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive mechanic within a service department, dealership, or independent shop AND 2+ years of experience adjusting automobile mechanical claims

Nice to Have

• ASE certification
