Claims Adjuster – Automotive

About This Role

Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate minor to complex vehicle repair costs to accurately determine coverage and liability, while providing information about claim processing and contract coverage to customers.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls
• Provide information about claim processing and explain different levels of contract coverage and terms
• Accurately establish, review and authorize claims
• Enter claim and contract information into the AGWS’ system

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive mechanic within a service department, dealership, or independent shop
• 2+ years of experience adjusting automobile mechanical claims
• Quiet designated work space to work from home
• Reliable internet with at least a download speed of 50mbps
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• High school diploma

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive mechanic; 2+ years of experience adjusting automobile mechanical claims

Nice to Have

• ASE certification
