Registered Nurse - Telemetry

About This Role

The Registered Nurse in Telemetry provides highly skilled acute nursing care to patients with primary cardiac diagnoses and acute and chronic complex medical conditions across two telemetry units, 3 Tele and 7 East. This role contributes to the mission and vision of the medical center by delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients (Pacemakers & ICDs, OHS / MVR / TAVR, STEMI, Cardiothoracic Surgeries, A-FIB Ablations, WATCHMANS, VATS)
• Provide acute nursing care to medical telemetry patients (CHF, Sepsis, COPD, Pneumonia, CVA, Electrolyte Imbalances, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Hypoxia, Rhabdo, Cath Lab, and EP Lab overflow)
• Utilize strong work ethic, resilience, and critical thinking skills in patient care
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment that values excellence
• Engage in a self-scheduling model for 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week

Requirements

• Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
• One (1) + years’ RN experience
• Strong work ethic, resilience, and critical thinking skills

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree
• One (1) + years’ RN experience
