Provide comprehensive nursing care to renal, dialysis, nephrology, vascular, and limb preservation patients within a specialized unit focused on reducing nurse burnout and improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to renal, dialysis, nephrology, vascular, and limb preservation patients
- Perform focused assessments and manage fluid and electrolyte balance for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease
- Manage specialized skills including wound care and limb preservation interventions
- Manage specialized skills including Nephrostomy tubes
- Manage specialized skills including Coude catheters
- Manage specialized skills including Continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- One year of acute nursing experience
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- One year of acute nursing experience required.
