Join a people-first team as a day shift, PRN, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse, responsible for coordinating safe patient care delivery and optimizing patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Function under the direction of the Nurse Director/Manager
- Coordinate safe patient care delivery for specified and diverse patient populations
- Assess patient/family needs
- Develop and prioritize patient goals
- Evaluate care delivery
- Continually revise the plan of care to meet the biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs of the patient/family
- Delegate care as appropriate to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in nursing
- Current Kansas RN Licensure
- BLS certification (within 14 days of hire)
- ACLS (for Tele, ICU, and PCU roles)
- Oncology certification (for Post-surgery roles)
- All required certifications within first year of employment
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in nursing
Nice to Have
- At least one year of recent experience in a similar healthcare setting
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
