About This Role

Provide expert critical care and education to patients in the ICU using the nursing process, acting as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from admission to discharge or transfer
• Provide expert care and education to patients in the critical care setting
• Act as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel
• Utilize specialized plan-of-care intervention
• Serve as a patient-care innovator
• Shape exceptional patient journeys
• Leverage skills and cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
• BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
• ACLS required within six months of hire
• One (1) year of progressive care experience

Qualifications

Nice to Have

• BSN
• Experience in critical care
• Previous experience with IntraAortic Balloon Pump, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy
• CCRN certification
