Registered Nurse (RN), Dialysis

About This Role

The Registered Nurse (RN), Dialysis will oversee the treatment of medical and surgical patients needing dialysis procedures. This role involves assessment, problem identification, interventions and treatments, and evaluation of patient conditions, working at Havasu Regional Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Oversee treatment of medical and surgical patients needing dialysis procedures
• Perform dialysis delivery of care including assessment, problem identification, interventions and treatments, and evaluation of actual, potential or perceived physical or psychological problems
• Provide procedures or treatments such as dialysis admission assessment, medication, IV therapy, administration of blood and blood products, pain control, O2 therapy
• Assist physician with Quintons and dressing application and changes
• Perform Quinton Cath and declot Quinton catheters
• Access AV shunt for diagnostic tests (i.e. venograms)
• Monitor patient continually during Hemoreplacement treatment

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• ACLS certification
• BCLS certification

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing Required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
• Minimum two years of Dialysis nursing experience preferred.
