About This Role

Provide professional nursing care in a procedural/surgical setting at Broward Health Medical Center, assessing patients, administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting physicians.

Responsibilities

  • Render professional nursing care in accordance with physicians' treatment plans
  • Assess patients' condition
  • Administer prescribed drugs
  • Provide treatments
  • Observe patients' progress
  • Record pertinent observations and report reaction to drugs and treatments
  • Assist physicians with examinations
  • Prepare instruments and equipment for physicians' use

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • One year experience
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Registered Nurse license

Qualifications

  • Associate in a Nursing Program from an Accredited School of Nursing
  • One Year of experience

Certifications

Basic Life Support (Required)
