Join St. Luke's Health System as a Registered Nurse in the busy Post Op/PACU unit in Boise. This role involves recovering patients of all ages, including infants to adolescents, following general anesthesia from various procedural areas.
Responsibilities
- Recover patients who have received general anesthesia from the main OR, CVOR, EP lab, cath lab, endoscopy, medical imaging, and interventional radiology
- Staff one nurse to two patients based on acuity and age
- Work evening shifts with varied start times and days off Monday-Friday
- Participate in 3-4 call shifts within an 8-week timeframe, including backup call or weekend and holiday coverage
- Respond to call within 30 minutes
Requirements
- Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
- BLS certification
- 2+ years nursing experience in a hospital setting
Qualifications
- Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN)
- 2+ years nursing experience in a hospital setting; PACU, Critical Care or ED highly preferred
Nice to Have
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Experience in PACU, Critical Care or ED
