Registered Nurse, Health Center Group Manager

About This Role

This role provides site-level leadership and manages the day-to-day operations for multiple health centers, working in partnership with AVPs and DCOs. The Health Center Group Manager coordinates technical and administrative staff and ensures efficient health center operations to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of single or multiple (2+) health centers and lines of service across contracts
• Manage staff processes for health center managers, technical Team Leads, and indirectly for Medical Directors and clinical providers
• Assist in creating site-specific goals and measurements, including managing metrics to Performance Guarantees
• Effectively communicate across various sites and to stakeholders to ensure consistency in messaging
• Compile input and contribute to performance appraisal process for all indirect reports
• Follow appropriate processes for hiring, staff development, and performance management, providing input to AVP and DCO as needed
• Manage daily operations, workflow, work schedules, and timecard monitoring for efficient health center performance
• Identify process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determine root cause analysis, create action plans, and present resolutions and recommendations
• Make recommendations regarding staffing model based on objective scheduling and volume analysis for AVP and DCO approval
• Oversee the execution of the site level quality program and support AAAHC standards across sites
• Develop action plans around patient utilization and penetration, monitoring patient flow, scheduling, referrals, and patient satisfaction
• Manage internal budget, review expenses, and oversee purchasing and inventory of equipment, medication, and lab tests

Requirements

• Current license as an RN in practicing state
• Current hands-on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the medical field
• 2 – 3 years’ management experience
• Prior management experience managing a large group

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3+ years experience in the medical field, with 2-3 years of management experience.

Nice to Have

• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S)
• Occupational health experience
• Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices
