About This Role

Serve as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting on a travel contract, providing critical care and leadership in Asheville, NC. This role offers the opportunity to combine a love of travel with a nursing career.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in an Emergency Department/Emergency Room (ED/ER) setting
Fulfill duties as a Travel Contract nurse, working night shifts (3x12, 36hr week)
Serve as a Level I ED Charge Nurse

Requirements

2 years of ED/ER experience within the past 3 years
Level I ED Charge Nurse experience
Active North Carolina or Compact RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS - AHA) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS - AHA) certification
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
Current driver's license (DL)

Qualifications

2 years of ED/ER experience within the past 3 years
