Registered Behavior Technician

About This Role

This role involves working one-on-one with autistic children to implement individualized behavior plans, helping them build communication, independence, and daily living skills. You will use evidence-based strategies and collect accurate data to track client progress, receiving guidance and supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®). This position provides meaningful work and a hybrid experience in both home and center-based settings.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with autistic children to implement individualized behavior plans
• Use evidence-based strategies to build play, communication, and life skills
• Collect accurate data to track client progress
• Receive guidance and supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®)
• Engage with families and caregivers respectfully and supportively

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18+ years old
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to pass a background check and provide references
• Physically able to sit, stand, run, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform CPR if needed
• Completion of (or willingness to complete) the 40-hour RBT® training within 30 days of hire
