Support individuals with autism by teaching daily living and social skills based on evidence-based treatments and collecting data. This role involves implementing therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaborating with clinical teams and families.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with autism in the home, community, or centers
- Teach daily living skills and social skills using effective behavior and evidence-based treatments
- Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions
- Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
- Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, Executive Directors, and additional team members
Requirements
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays
- Consistent, reliable transportation and car insurance
- Ability to maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
- Ability to attend 40-hour RBT training course and pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire (for BT)
- Ability to attend required training program (for RBT)
