About This Role

This Regional Property Manager leads and oversees all on-site personnel, focusing on new property acquisitions and management transitions for a rapidly growing apartment investment firm. The role requires a highly motivated individual passionate about achieving results in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with new acquisition due diligence, employee onboarding, service contract setup, utility transfers, and other property takeover duties
  • Understand financial goals and operate assets in owners’ best interest in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and income projections
  • Establish and manage effective rent collection practices in line with company policies
  • Generate necessary legal action, documents, and processes in accordance with government and company guidelines
  • Provide constant vendor/contractor communications concerning scheduling, billing, vendor relations, and certificates of insurance
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to optimize occupancy and maximize rent growth
  • Continually monitor and analyze traffic logs, comparable properties, market data, etc.
  • Ensure proper response and handling of all community emergencies with staff, residents, buildings, etc.
  • Address elevated resident concerns and requests on a timely basis to ensure resident satisfaction with management
  • Develop and/or implement resident retention programs
  • Ensure the efficiency of staff through ongoing training, instruction, counseling, and leadership
  • Ensure all administrative processes involving personnel are handled on a timely basis
  • Coordinate maintenance schedule and assignments and plan weekly/daily office staff schedules and assignments
  • Maintain community appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on a timely basis

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of regional-level multifamily property management experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong team building and performance management skills
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure and handle project deadlines
  • Excellent communication, organization, management, and people skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Results-oriented with the ability to balance all business considerations

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of regional-level multifamily property management experience

Nice to Have

  • Out-of-state property management experience
  • Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and new property takeovers
  • Experience with large-scale renovation projects
  • Experience with Yardi
