About This Role

Manage a portfolio of real estate investment properties, primarily manufactured home communities, focusing on building relationships with tenants and employees, coordinating support services, and achieving financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop good working relationships with company clients and staff
  • Provide operations support to properties in the portfolio and other communities as needed
  • Assure employee grievances and resident complaints are heard and resolved
  • Manage staff, including scheduling, delegating, training, enforcing policies, and conducting annual reviews
  • Support the implementation of processes and procedures for associate task performance
  • Ensure all compliance and training requirements are met
  • Communicate proactively with clients/customers/owners and provide support and solutions
  • Be responsible for assigned sites and personnel seven days a week
  • Participate in company committees or volunteer events
  • Complete monthly inspections of all portfolio properties
  • Maintain good communication with support staff
  • Interact and coordinate efficiently with regional and support staff to negotiate deadlines
  • Administer site safety program and risk management programs
  • Enforce company policies as outlined by handbooks and executive memorandums
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, meeting financial goals
  • Establish and recommend rental rates based on market analyses
  • Review and approve accounts payable
  • Ensure timely rent collection and maintain low delinquencies

Requirements

  • 2 years business management and supervisory experience
  • Minimum 1 year in property management of apartment communities or manufactured home communities
  • Current Real Estate license
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet skills)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Accessible 24/7, flexible work schedule
  • Financial/mathematical aptitude
  • Good to excellent verbal and written skills
  • Well motivated, able to work both independently and part of a team

Qualifications

  • 2 years business management and supervisory experience plus a minimum of 1 year in property management of apartment communities or manufactured home communities.
