Regional Equipment Specialist – Large Projects

About This Role

This role supports large project equipment rental operations for OES Equipment, focusing on equipment utilization, team collaboration, and operational efficiency across multiple branches. The specialist will contribute to rental performance, promote safe equipment practices, and assist with business operations and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and improving equipment utilization and fleet readiness
• Support maintenance planning, safety compliance, and fleet right-sizing efforts
• Use rental and fleet software platforms to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Help ensure compliance with EHSP and regulatory standards (FMCSA, OSHA, DOT, ANSI, etc.)
• Support branch teams in building strong customer and vendor relationships
• Promote consistent service practices to enhance customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with teams to ensure reliable equipment solutions are delivered
• Contribute to planning efforts aimed at improving rental revenue, margins, and cost control
• Assist in coordinating operational activities across branches to align with company goals
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives that support regional growth and efficiency

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in equipment rentals, logistics, or warehouse operations
• Understanding of equipment procurement, rental cycles, and maintenance planning
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
• Effective problem-solving and communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other industry support data applications

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in Construction or related field of study preferred
• 5+ years of experience in equipment rentals, logistics, or warehouse operations

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with P2P systems (e.g. Coupa)
• Familiarity with equipment rental software (e.g. RentalMan)
