Drive strategic account plans within Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and accounts to unlock sales growth opportunities for Bayer's Cardiovascular Renal (CVR) portfolio. This role involves establishing comprehensive business plans, coordinating cross-functional pull-through, and building strategic relationships with health system stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Ensure integration and on-label access within account-level decision-making platform tools (EMRs, formulary, account-level pathways, order sets)
- Develop and execute strategic account plans across the enterprise in alignment with cross-functional stakeholders
- Coordinate pull-through of the account strategy by mobilizing cross-functional Bayer team to achieve sales objectives
- Identify key decision makers, create Advocates, Clinical and Business Champions within accounts
- Coordinate efforts across the cross-functional Bayer team to achieve short- and long-term account objectives
- Identify compliant opportunities to expand business across Bayer’s CVR portfolio in alignment with patient care
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive activities to inform strategy
- Work collaboratively across all team members (across therapeutic areas and roles) within the account
- Contribute to shaping and execute the Area-wide pull-through of the national account strategy
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in building network and relationships across stakeholders in IDNs and accounts
- Experience launching new products and product indications
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution
- Excellent facilitation and verbal/written communication skills
- Exceptional collaboration skills and demonstrated success in working cross functionally in matrix environment
- Ability to lead without authority
- Strong understanding of the customer channel, market direction and business Insight
- Ability to comply with customer credentialing and safety requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of successful Account Management experience in pharma or healthcare-related field; 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical account management in the IDN or Hospital channel
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree (preferably in the Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or business-related field)
- Experience in establishing and pulling-through in-patient to out-patient protocols
