Global Senior Brand Director, Oncology

About This Role

This role supports global product teams in designing and executing brand strategies to commercialize Bayer's oncology portfolio, ensuring world-class marketing capabilities and delivering value to stakeholders and patients. It involves leading marketing strategy and tactics for successful asset commercialization and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to effective development and implementation of marketing strategies for asset commercialization plans
• Lead development of brand plans and manage interface to markets for integrated brand plan development
• Lead development of segmentation strategies (HCP and patient) and targeting framework
• Lead development of unbranded and branded key message framework, message architecture, and integrated brand communications strategy
• Develop Unbranded and Branded campaigns in line with brand positioning
• Champion global brand alignment by advising affiliates on brand strategy
• Coordinate the interface to markets for learning cycles and best practice sharing
• Develop, deliver and evaluate integrated omnichannel plan and promotional guidance
• Lead development of Digital Health solutions to drive differentiation and improve stakeholder experience
• Coordinate consolidation and interpretation of market understanding and competitive environment of the brand
• Provide strategic input into brand forecasting and business planning processes
• Ensure resource prioritization and budget management for global commercial activities
• Monitor, reevaluate, and implement corrective measures to global deliverables
• Manage key agencies

Requirements

• International/Global Strategic Brand Management experience
• Successful global or regional marketing experience
• Experience in managing external collaborations
• Excellent Communication Skills – Written and Verbal English Language
• Experience working in matrix-based teams
• Strong collaboration/relationship-building skills and ability to engage across multiple functions
• Demonstrated Cross-Functional Leadership Capabilities
• Experience in Oncology

Qualifications

• BS or BA
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in oncology if paired with preferred qualifications; otherwise, not explicitly stated

Nice to Have

• PhD, MBA, or advanced degree
• 5+ years of experience working in key therapeutic areas in CV, WH, Ophthalmology, or Oncology
• Experience commercializing in key PT markets
• Experience in a customer-facing position
