About This Role

The Radiologic Technologist at CareNow - Savannah performs radiological and lab duties, as well as front desk responsibilities, ensuring high-quality patient care and customer satisfaction. This role involves working with clinic staff to coordinate efforts and provide timely patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all required Radiological and Lab duties in accordance with license and perform front desk duties as assigned.
  • Work with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receive high quality care and services.
  • Perform all x-ray views according to provider’s orders, clinical practice under state law and in compliance with company policy and procedures.
  • Document the patient record according to established clinical practice and company policies and procedures.
  • Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests accurately, and process specimens for reference labs.
  • Support front desk duties including greeting patients, checking patients in/out, End of Day close out procedures, and records release.
  • Maintain, calibrate and perform controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily, inspect and report artifacts from the x-ray screen.
  • Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, x-rays, and lab work sent out to other labs.
  • Ensure the occupational client’s work form is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
  • Follow all company policies pertaining to infection control and hand hygiene.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification
  • BLS certification within 30 days of start
  • Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start
  • Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start
  • State license for Office Laboratory Assistant (if required by the state) within 30 days of employment or promotion

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
  • 1+year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.

Nice to Have

  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting
