Quality Inspector

About This Role

Inspect and audit materials, processes, and products for aircraft interior construction, ensuring conformance with quality standards for a Safran Company.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article inspection (FAI) of newly designed or revised products
• Inspect incoming products to ensure proper paperwork and parts conform to specifications, engineering, and purchase orders
• Conduct in-process inspection of parts being manufactured
• Inspect sub-assemblies used in aircraft interior construction and all final products prior to shipment
• Interpret and read engineering drawings, company, and customer specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4-7 years of experience
• Familiar with Windows Operating System®
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office systems
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments
• Ability to effectively use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4-7 years of experience

• Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical literature
