About This Role

Evaluate, perform, or witness testing of manufactured product quality characteristics against specified drawings, specifications, or standard practice requirements, ensuring products meet or exceed standards for use. Support the manufacturing department to maintain high-quality output.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, perform, or witness testing of a manufactured product's quality characteristics
  • Assure that only products meeting or exceeding specified requirements are used for service
  • Understand and apply all aspects of the Quality system including QSM, QSP'S, QB'S SOD'S, Checklists, ATP's and ATR's
  • Work with minimum supervision to solve or assist in solving inspection and manufacturing problems by collecting and analyzing data
  • Verify that manufactured items meet the latest applicable revision drawings and/or specifications using measuring and test equipment (M&TE)
  • Complete all inspection paperwork to assure identification and traceability
  • Use specified identification techniques to assure state of inspection and separation of conforming and Non-conforming product
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and prepare associated FAI paperwork using AS9102 format
  • Perform quality and safety audits
  • Adhere to safe work practices and contribute to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture

Requirements

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to solve or assist in solving inspection and manufacturing problems
  • Ability to verify manufactured items meet latest applicable revision drawings/specifications using M&TE
  • Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AS9102 format for FAI paperwork
