The Quality Engineer I will engage with quality networks and the business unit to align with organizational goals and ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures. This role focuses on plant quality activities, including customer complaints, CAPA, quality metrics, and change controls.
Responsibilities
- Engage with quality networks and business units to promote and align organizational goals to the company’s mission and vision
- Ensure plant/functional quality organization fulfills its obligations and aligns with applicable laws and procedures
- Navigate and lead through challenges of change and establish key stakeholder engagement focusing on solutions
- Continuously evaluate progress toward tactical goals and objectives, adapting them to meet customer and business needs
- Develop and implement best quality practices for areas of responsibility
- Manage customer impacting issues, prioritizing quality and compliance-minded solutions
- Monitor, investigate, and trend customer complaints for manufactured and distributed components/products
- Assess Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters and risk assessment variables for predictable product design and flow
- Initiate and/or support CAPAs and may lead the investigation/corrective action process
- Assure departmental compliance with ISO and FDA requirements, participating on teams, supporting projects, and ensuring IVDR compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science
- Minimum 3 years quality experience
