About This Role

The Quality Engineer will ensure product quality through advanced metrology techniques and continuous improvement initiatives for an advanced injection-molded plastic components manufacturer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to meet industry standards
  • Utilize advanced metrology equipment to ensure product specifications are met
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain detailed documentation of quality control procedures and results
  • Support internal and external audits related to quality standards
  • Train and mentor team members on quality processes and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of metrology and quality assurance principles
  • Extensive PPAP/APQP experience
  • Strong Experience with GD&T
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience with quality management systems and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering or a related technical field is a plus
