Quality Control Technician

About This Role

This Quality Control Technician position supports department management by creating and managing data batches, conducting quality control checks, and transmitting data files. The role involves setting up new protocols, preparing test batches, and establishing data transfer schedules, contributing to the integrity of database content and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Create data batches in basic and custom formats
• Complete Quality control checks
• Transmit data files
• Complete database setup for new Protocols, including initial contact and setup discussions
• Prepare data test batches and establish schedules for data transfers
• Assist in authoring Data Reports in accordance with Corporate SOPs
• Configure database settings to ensure proper data content (data mapping)
• Gather and compile test data from the lab
• Create customer test reports (Certificate of Analysis)
• Interact and operate within customer specific portals to upload data, production volume and other customer specific needs
• Review test data prior to shipments
• Analyze returned material, perform Root Cause Analysis, 8D's, 5-Why, and help develop corrective actions
• Participate in new plant procedures, collecting data from experiments and assisting other team members
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations, including wearing proper protective equipment

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of related experience and /or training
• Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, some college (associates degree) preferred
• Two (2) years of related experience and /or training
