Implement, monitor, and manage food safety programs and quality control systems to ensure product safety, security, and maintain world-class quality standards. Provide frontline quality leadership, function autonomously, and train personnel on related policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and product quality procedures at HBH Ecommerce facility
- Provide timely feedback to operations personnel and QA Team regarding food safety and food quality issues
- Train facility personnel on policies/procedures relating to SSOP’s, GMP’s, SOP’s, and product quality requirements
- Assist in the development and implementation of action plans to correct food safety and food quality deficiencies
- Perform QA checks via internal product evaluation forms and ensure product meets company standards
- Perform hourly SSOP, SOP, QA and HAACP monitoring
- Troubleshoot and take corrective actions
- Assist with production activities as needed and develop process improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of quality assurance and/or production experience within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to function autonomously and be self-directed
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of quality assurance and/or production experience within a manufacturing environment.
Nice to Have
- USDA experience
- HAACP Certification
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
