Quality Assurance Specialist

About This Role

This Quality Assurance Specialist will support the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Network Operations Center (NOC) by planning, configuring, testing, and implementing operational changes. The role involves managing the end-to-end release process and ensuring adherence to established policies for critical network stability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, configure, test, and implement all operational changes to create release packages for designated services.
• Manage all aspects of the end-to-end release process, ensuring coordination of build, test environments, and release teams.
• Ensure all teams follow the organization's established policies and procedures.
• Provide configuration management planning and support the configuration change operational and approval process.
• Support quality assurance process audits.
• Provide management reports on release progress.
• Responsible for service roll out planning, including deployment methods and communication implementation, in coordination with the CBP Change Operational Process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Networking, Telecommunications)
• 8+ years of experience in an equivalent technical field
• US citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CBP public trust clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related technical field such as Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Networking and Telecommunications.
• A minimum eight (8) Plus years of experience in equivalent technical field

Nice to Have

• Experience directly supporting DHS, CBP or ICE Network Operations
• Active CBP clearance, or DOD Secret clearance or higher
