About This Role

This position is responsible for performing HACCP, SSOP, and Quality Checks to ensure that products meet plant, USDA, and customer expectations within a farming and food production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform HACCP, SSOP, and Quality Checks on products
• Ensure products meet plant, USDA, and customer expectations
• Conduct pre-operational sanitation checks
• Perform various quality control functions, including inspection and audits
• Inspect products to assure compliance with Company specifications
• Complete accurate and detailed paperwork on products
• Communicate clearly with Superintendent, Lead, and Managers

Requirements

• Basic understanding of microbiology, HACCP, SSOPs & GMPs
• Knowledge of pre-operational sanitation checks
• Computer/tablet skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good math skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Physically capable of performing line work
• Excellent attendance and work record

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in industry and/or similar work environment
• Bilingual
