LPN/LVN Nurse

About This Role

Administer direct medical care to employees, assess illnesses/injuries, perform health screenings, and maintain accurate documentation within the scope of practice and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care for employees at site according to medical directives within the scope of practice and regulations of the State Nurse Practice Act
• Adhere to health management policies, protocols, medical directives, and physician standing orders
• Assess nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures
• Perform pre-employment Drug/Alcohol screening
• Conduct hearing testing
• Provide ongoing treatment to employees
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations including OSHA, Worker's Compensation, etc. and HIPAA compliance
• Participate in health and safety teaching of employees
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist in departmental medical records upkeep
• Notify Occupational Health Manager and designee of any pertinent physical and emotional changes of symptoms presented by employees

Requirements

• LPN or RN license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification
• Proficient in Excel and Word

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
