Corporate Yield Manager

About This Role

This Corporate Yield Manager will join the Fed Beef Division, working on-site in Greeley, Colorado. The role focuses on production yield-related analysis and reporting, collaborating with operational and commercial teams to enhance decision-making and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in driving performance improvements
• Coordinate and participate in yield testing and manage yield tree development
• Develop Cost to Produce methodology to support the business on sales initiatives
• Educate team members on yield reports and work with various teams to identify ways to improve performance
• Produce and/or verify daily and weekly reporting
• Analyze and contribute to requests to develop new products

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agribusiness, Animal Science, Meat Science, Ag Economics, or equivalent experience
• 1 year of experience in the meat industry or a production environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Acute attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
• Strong communication and presenting skills
• Experience deriving insights and trends from a data set
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agribusiness, Animal Science, Meat Science, Ag Economics, or equivalent experience
• 1 year of experience in the meat industry or a production environment required, beef industry experience preferred. Additional experience in an analytical role or similar relevant experience preferred.
