P&WFMS Global Payroll Advisory Manager

About This Role

This role involves advising clients on global payroll and workforce management strategies, analyzing existing processes to identify pain points, and recommending technology solutions to improve their overall payroll function. The Manager will lead teams, deliver projects, and work with top brands to solve complex payroll challenges.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients to analyze current state payroll processes and identify pain points
• Offer possible solutions to improve payroll functionality
• Advise clients on technology options to enhance their overall Payroll function
• Demonstrate leadership and accountability for team outputs
• Lead teams, deliver work, and design work efforts
• Act as an emerging business advisor, Project/Workstream Manager, and leader of others
• Support sales activities
• Work with top brands and global organizations to solve complicated payroll problems

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience actively working with Payroll and Workforce Management functions and processes
• 6+ years of Global payroll experience
• 6+ years of external Consulting Experience
• 6+ years of experience working with global fortune 500 firms
• 6+ years of experience leading requirements gathering workshops or facilitating meetings
• 6+ years of experience leading the vendor selection process (client and supplier sides) including RFPs, RFIs, scoring and evaluating products and services
• Experience leading a team in the full lifecycle of a project including Business Analysis, Functional Specification, System Configuration, Design, Testing
• 6+ years of experience with payroll software such as ADP, Dayforce, UKG, Workday, Oracle Cloud, Infor CloudSuite, or SAP/SuccessFactors and system infrastructure
• Ability to interact at all levels of the client organization, including developing strong relationships with client executives
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• 4+ years of experience with and desire to mentor junior staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience actively working with Payroll and Workforce Management functions and processes, demonstrating understanding of all its complexities

Nice to Have

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint, with at least 2 years' experience creating advanced Excel models (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and developing client-ready PowerPoint presentations for executive-level audiences
• 6+ years of industry experience as a payroll professional
• 2+ years of experience in driving sales
