PT Pricing Coordinator

About This Role

This role involves providing quality customer service and maintaining pricing standards within a Food Lion store. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate pricing, managing signage, and fulfilling various operational tasks to create a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with primary emphasis on fast, friendly, and accurate customer service
• Ensure all advertising and sales promotion materials are properly utilized
• Replace tags for each item that changes price in all departments
• Scan products or tags for each price change to ensure accuracy
• Maintain signage for displays during the price change process
• Make tag corrections on any item not transmitted according to price changes
• Pull tags and hangs closeouts for items deleted
• Verify prices and tags for 1000 items in the store each week using a wireless hand-held unit
• Order and maintain all Warehouse and DSD replacement shelf tags
• Maintain tags for new items and ensure that the items scan correctly
• Communicate prices not transmitted correctly or any "not on files" to the Customer Support Center
• Maintain complete understanding of and adherence to company guidelines, policies and standard practice
• Understand and follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures
• Observe and correct all unsafe conditions that could cause associate or customer accidents
• Report all associate and customer accidents in accordance with established Food Lion procedures

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
