Project Manager (Water/ Wastewater)

About This Role

Lead and manage water/wastewater construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and safety standards. Oversee project personnel and subcontractor activities while maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client to facilitate construction activities
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy boundaries
• Confer with project staff to outline work plan, assign duties and responsibilities
• Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget
• Review project proposal or plan to determine timeframe, funding, staffing and resources
• Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent
• Manage financial aspects of contracts and assume responsibility for project profit or loss
• Lead project team in daily field coordination, weekly block schedule, and monthly safety meetings
• Mentor and assist with career development of other team members
• Supervise and direct work activities, appraise performance, and address complaints
• Represent company in Owner progress meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• 10+ years’ experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management
• Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assure responsibility, interface, and communicate effectively with others
• Business-oriented mindset

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• 10+ years’ experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management
