Project Manager, Proposals

About This Role

Manage the external proposal development process by collaborating with various internal teams to complete Requests for Proposals (RFP's), Requests for Information (RFI's), and proactive proposals for new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise and act as the focal point for District Sales Managers, RVPs, HSE's, and other team members throughout the project duration
• Conduct a "first-pass" review of each proposal, aiming to provide up to 80% of answers by researching knowledge databases, past proposals, and relevant websites
• Provide comprehensive writing and editing expertise to ensure accuracy and quality of responses
• Coach team members in the proposal process, track issue resolutions, communicate customer requirements, and resolve logistical issues
• Analyze proposal inputs from the team to ensure thorough and timely completion of all proposal components
• Maintain open communication with all team members via voicemail and e-mail, informing them of conference calls, meetings, and deadlines
• Maintain a repository of company information and capabilities to support proposal responses

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work well under deadlines and time constraints
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project Management software)

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business or related discipline preferred or equivalent experience
